I haven't done any personal artwork worth posting for this year and it's about to end in 8 days. They're all wips or commissioned private works. I'm fucking pissed at myself. I'm slacking and piled with work and just overall tired most of the time. I will finish my WIPS though.

I've started another daily project beginning this year on Tumblr and I was doing so fucking well making random artworks everyday. However, like love, something always comes to fuck it up, in my case work. So now, I'm discontinuing that blog project. I've been literally busy with work and the shifting schedules they constantly give me along with the fact that I'm out my house for more than half the day. I could make all the excuses I would but I wouldn't bother. Sooo, I've got another plan in my mind but I'm not sure if I could pull it through because it will need the help of other people who has free time. Hopefully it will go well. 

So last April 13-14, VXV PH launched its first ever exhibit/convention at the Arts City in BGC, VXV: Vector the Future! I was one of the lucky people whose work got included in the exhibit. (See this: suppressed-desires.deviantart.… ) I'm very much thankful to VXV for giving me such great opportunity. It's been such an overwhelming and humbling experience just to have an artwork together with all the VXV Titans and all those other talented people in the organization. The event itself has been very helpful to me as an artist. I finally got to meet the incredibly talented people whom I just interact online with and I also learned so much from the speakers who shared tips, styles, advices etc., to being an artist. Everyone has their own style but learning from others is another way to discover one's self.

I've been a part of VXV since 2010 through Sir Dan (picong101.deviantart.com) who, incidentally, is my high school friend's older brother! I've been so blessed to be part of such talented group and I've learned so much from them. They've been my guide and inspiration to the world of Vectors and Vexels. With that said, I suggest you take a look at an album of mine in my gallery called Vector and Vexel Arts and see my progress. I think I've made an improvement so to speak.

Generally, I don't really focus on one type of art. Although I am inclined digitally, I've also had my fair share of traditional art. I grew up drawing my favorite cartoon characters from Disney and Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network - and I still draw up to now! I dabble in some photography, play (and record!) the guitar, painted on ceramics and on canvasses as well. However, the rapid growth of technology has made me more involved with the digital art. I've been all around and everywhere with the art but I don't feel that it's enough. Maybe it's the time I consume, or the procrastinating sessions I frequently take part in, maybe it's my multi-tasking.

I've decided to discontinue 1 for 7 since I'm so busy for it what with school and all. I'm going to replace it with another project, I don't know what to call it yet, but I've had some ideas down. It'll be a paper-to-digital project that I'm so excited about!
